Things We Find Interesting in Evangelista

Evangelista is just a couple of streets away from where we live in Makati. We have explored this area many times over that we lost count already. And not all of our trips to Evangelista we can say were quite exciting. There were times there’s nothing interesting at all but it’s a different story last week. These pieces of furniture caught our attention. We could have bought all of it had we have a little more space in our small and humble abode to fit these all in.

Remember the love seat with damask patterned fabric in our previous posting: Store Visit: KARMA Vintage Furniture store in Cubao-X? Having that in mind, we were thinking that these pieces of sofa, chairs and a foot stool need are a little imagination, a touch of creativity and a few thousands of pesos for these to become exquisite as the one in KARMA. Reupholstering and a little varnishing, and voila! These can look expensive and new again! We were even planning to sell these if one will take interest in buying these from us.

Although we doubt it if these are still in Evangelista by this time. Someone else might have bought these because this kind of  furniture don’t last long on display specially if they are only a little over Php3,000.00.

This side table could have perfectly matched with the set above.

We find this table simply exquisite and "period".

What about this bed? Over a couple of years ago, we tracked down these streets in Evangelista to find something like this. Bring back the time, we could have bought it right a way. Again, with a little imagination, a touch of creativity and a few thousands of pesos, this can also look expensive and could have saved us some money too!

Hi enyasirch, it's about 5 or 6 blocks away if you are driving coming from EDSA. The stores are on the side streets. Not hard to miss. Enjoy your thrift shopping! :)
